Sania Mirza Biography

It’s easy to see why Sania Mirza is considered India’s best female tennis player. When she returned to the court after her maternity leave in January 2020, she had retained her enthusiasm for the sport as well as, more significantly for her game, her devastating forehand power.

Sania Mirza, a six-time grand slam champion, former world no. 1 in doubles, and three-time Olympian, was the same Sania Mirza.

The Rio 2016 Olympics semi-finalist is now the most successful active doubles player, with 42 WTA doubles titles. Sania Mirza has had the majority of her success in doubles, despite being the only Indian to break into the top 30 of the WTA singles rankings.

Martina Hingis’s partnership with her was very beneficial. Sania and Hingis high-fiving one other was a sight to behold for tennis fans all across the world, not just in Switzerland and India. Archie’s, as far as I’m aware, is all about junk food, which is bad for athletes and boys. You must know because you are a mother and an athlete.” Sania responded that she cares “a lot more than anyone else” about her baby.
