Car PDI Checklist

If you are searching for Mahindra xuv700 delivery checklist or xuv700 PDI then this post is very helpful for you. Checklist for Pre-Delivery Inspection of a New Car Before making a reservation and taking delivery of a new vehicle from the dealer showroom, complete the PDI Checklist in Documents and Road Tax.

What is a Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI)

The term “pre-delivery inspection” may be unfamiliar to most buyers (PDI). Before the car is registered, the dealer does a final inspection at the dealership. It’s a complete inspection of the car’s exteriors, interiors, electric parts, mechanicals, accessories, road test, fluid level testing, minor faults, and blemishes, among other things.

Why Should You Conduct a PDI of Your Car

It is also your responsibility as a customer to ensure that everything is in working order. So, here’s a detailed Pre-Delivery Inspection checklist that you may use to ensure that your car’s PDI was completed properly.

XUV700 PDI Checklist

Purchasing a xuv700 is regarded as a happy and prosperous event. It is critical to conduct a pre-delivery car inspection in order to avoid ruining the mood after the vehicle is delivered.

It’s worth nothing that in most cities today, High Security Plates are required to be installed prior to the delivery of a new car. So, if the dealer sends the vehicle paperwork for registration and a number plate is assigned, you will most likely not be allowed to change the colour or variant at the time of delivery, let alone modify the vehicle after delivery.

Inspecting the Car :-

We recommend that you always hold a part payment atleast equivalent to Registration Cost, Insurance Premium at time of delivery and hand it over only post inspection of car at showroom or workshop.

  • Always inspect the automobile in the daytime or in regions with plenty of sunlight to provide a clear view of the vehicle from both inside and out.
  • Examine the car’s exteriors from all angles, including the front, back, and sides, to ensure that the paint is uniform and free of scratches or paint touch-ups.
  • Examine the dashboard and the odometer carefully. To rule out the chance that the dealer interfered with the wire harness to disconnect the odometer, it should be uniform.
  • Request a brief demonstration from the sales team. Check all lights, indicators, horn, and steering, then start the engine – everything should be fine. When you’re monitoring the lights, have a friend or family member accompany you outdoors.

Billing

Make sure you have a copy of the sales contract with you when you deliver. A sales contract specifies the vehicle’s make, colour, version, and pricing details, including discounts and breakups. It’s documentation of the dealer’s promise to deliver a car based on the Make, Model, and Price information provided.

It’s completely acceptable for the dealer to give you separate invoices for the amounts paid for Registration, Road Tax, and Insurance. Please see – Important Tips before Making a Car Reservation for more information.

Brokerage Charges

It is not necessary to pay any brokerage fees. In most jurisdictions, the RTO has urged dealers to finish registration and collect road tax payments in order to speed the process; however, there is no Brokerage Charge for this, and anyone requesting it should be ignored.
