The diesel variants will be delivered starting in the last week of November. The Mahindra XUV700, the newest entrant into the very competitive mid-sized SUV sector, began taking reservations in early October. Delivery of the petrol model began on October 30, 2021, while deliveries of the diesel variant will begin at the end of November, according to the business. It’s worth noting that XUV700 purchasers aren’t the only ones who have been waiting for their order to arrive. Thousands of Thar consumers have suffered a same fate. Mahindra Thar, which was launched last year, has roughly 50k Thar customers waiting for delivery.
Mahindra XUV700 Diesel Variants Delivery Timeline
Mahindra keeps its clients informed about the delivery schedule on a frequent basis. According to the most recent update sent to XUV700 buyers, they will be granted a delivery date starting November 25th, 2021. Customers who have been waiting for a while will be given an anticipated month of delivery, if not an exact date.
In its segment, the Mahindra XUV700 competes against the Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Harrier and Safari, MG Hector and Hector Plus. Buyers in the country have accepted it, as evidenced by sales in the last month. The XUV700 became the segment leader in October 2021, selling 3,407 units compared to 1,370 units in September 2021, outselling both the Mahindra Thar and the Scorpio in its first month of sales. It was followed by the Tata Harrier, which sold 3,097 units in the previous month. Last month, MG Hector, another capable contender, sold 2,478 units.

Mahindra xuv700 Diesel Options for Engines and Transmissions
The Mahindra XUV700 has a 5-star Global NCAP safety certification and is available with both petrol and diesel engines. Between 1,750 and 3,000 rpm, the 2.0 litre GDi mStallion turbo petrol engine produces 200 horsepower and 380 Nm torque. A 2.2-liter mHawk diesel engine with 182 horsepower and 450 Nm torque is also available. A six-speed manual transmission and a six-speed automatic transmission are standard, with all-wheel-drive as an option.
The XUV700 was first offered at an introductory price of Rs 11.99 lakh, with the best spec variant costing Rs 19.79 lakh. The introductory price structure was altered after the first 25,000 bookings. It is currently available at a starting price of Rs 12.49 lakh. All prices are in US dollars and include shipping.
Because of the high demand, Mahindra has formed an association with global consulting firms to develop an algorithm-based delivery procedure. It will be chosen based on a variety of factors, including the number of bookings per city and dealership, as well as the proportion of online and dealership bookings. It will also be based on variant-level production while taking supply chain restrictions into consideration.
