Simranjit Kaur Career

Rajpal Kaur, a boxing enthusiast herself, pushed Kaur to join the sport, as she had done with her siblings. Simranjeet Kaur wasn’t really fond of boxing, preferring instead to focus on her education. Simran got her first experience of boxing when her older sister introduced her to the ring. After seeing her siblings give it their best in boxing, she wanted to give it a chance herself. Her mother, Rajpal Kaur, believes that a good education requires a lot of money, which is why she encouraged Simranjeet to start boxing. Simranjeet soon became enamored with the game and enrolled in her village’s Sher-e-Punjab sports academy. Due to a shortage of girls in her weight group, she would frequently train and fight with the boys at the academy. Simranjeet’s adventure began there.
