After a suicide note blames Ministry personnel, the MHA launches an investigation into the suicide of songwriter Santosh Anand’s son.
Santosh Anand, a well-known Bollywood lyricist, is a broken guy. Sankalp and his daughter-in-law committed suicide by jumping in front of a train in Mathura on Wednesday. The couple’s five-year-old daughter was in the car with them, but she was unharmed.
His tell-all suicide letter, however, has raised eyebrows because it accuses corruption in a department within the Home Ministry.
Sankalp taught criminal justice and forensic science at the National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science. Sankalp attacked institute administrators in his suicide note, which was discovered in his car, stating that they had syphoned off money and were now threatening to incriminate him in fake cases.
The MHA has launched an investigation because the institute is under the Home Ministry’s control.
However, the family is calling for a CBI investigation. The victim’s cousin added, “We want the CBI to investigate the claims made by Sankalp in his suicide note.”
Meanwhile, a sobbing Santosh Anand declares that he has no reason to live.
“My son passed away. I’m a wreck “says the man whose songs in films like ‘Kranti,’ ‘Shor,’ and ‘Prem Rog’ brought the entire country to tears.
