Rahul Vaidya began his singing career at a young age. He took part in a number of children’s talent shows and won a number of them. He took part in “Aao Jhoomein Gaayein” during his childhood.
In 2004, he made his television debut by competing in Season 1 of the singing reality show “India Idol” and placing second runner-up. He was a second-year college student when he took part in this show.
Rahul released his first music album, “Tera Intezar,” eight tracks composed by Sajid-Wajid, after eight months.
After that, he collaborated with Shreya Ghoshal on the song “God Promise Dil Dola” for the Bollywood film “Shaadi No.1” (2005). He’s also played in Hindi films like Jigyaasa, Krazzy 4, and Hot Money.
